Studion J - Ohio 2010

Last October, we went to visit my husbands grandparents in Bryan, Ohio. We hadn't been out there in several years, because the drive takes over 16 hours. We finally found a reasonable airfare to Dayton, Ohio and drove about 3 hours to get to our destination.

It was so awesome to see the fall colors and the weather was perfect. We were also able to visit with the families of Dan's aunt and uncle who live close to his grandparents.

Here are the Studio J layouts from our trip. I used the "Back Country" paper pack.

Sophia, Sophia!

I just got the Sophia Level 2 Paper Pack from CTMH, and I am having so much fun with it.

First, I made this adorable sock cupcake which is going to be birthday gift for a relative. You can go here to see the cupcake socks, and you can go here to see how I folded the socks. I know I am going to wear out this gift idea this year.

Then I made this adorable card using two techniques for paper flowers. I just love how they turned out. Here is a video that was my inspiration for the flower.

Inspirations Blog Hop

Welcome to our Inspirations Blog Hop!  We will be featuring products currently offered in our January Inspiration Brochure.  If you have come here from Sheila Wilkerson's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here Debi’s blog (
We have Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's brochure and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I was so excited when CTMH first shared the new products in the Inspiration brochure that I had to have everything. Okay, almost everything.  Plus, it is my turn to teach the workshop for my meetup group this month. So, it was perfect timing to come up with some awesome artwork to share.

So I have made two layouts and two cards using a variety of products from the Inspiration brochure. I will try to detail accurately the stamp sets used. Furthermore, the Wings Level 2 Paper pack was used for all images in this post. To be honest, I only used 1/2 the paper pack.

Layout 1a

I used two stamp sets for this page: Bohemian Alphabet (E1019) and the WOTG Stamp Set.

I only used the WOTG Stamp Set for this page. I love the quote and the decorative accents in this set.

This second layout is from the "Magic" Book and the layout is called Lovely Assistant. It's really a simple layout that uses a minimal amount of paper and allows your pictures to really be the focus. I used the "Take a Picture" Stamp (C1440) on this page and the next page.

Layout 2b
This card was the card featured in the WOTG kit, and only uses the WOTG stamp set.

This card uses the Rosy Regards stamp set (B1369).

Now "Hop" on over to Tonya's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, these products are only available at a discount in the month of January!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see the Inspirations brochure and how you can get these products!
